“Have you seen, if We let them enjoy for years, then comes to them that which they were promised”Imam Sadiq (as) explained the verse, “Have you seen, if We let them enjoy for years, then comes to them that which they were promised”
He (the Imam ) said, “That which they were promised” is the rising of the Qaem (as).
“Of what avail shall be the enjoyment to them?” refers to Bani Umayyah who enjoyed their life. (Taweel Al Ayat Al Zahirah page 389)
