“Soon We will show Our signs to them in the horizons (of the world), and within themselves until it becomes manifest to them that he is the truth”
Imam Sadiq (as) said, “Soon We will show Our signs to them in the horizons (of the world), and within themselves until it becomes manifest to them that he is the truth”
The sign “in the horizons” is that the areas which they inhabit will become smaller, and the sign “within themselves” is the deformation (of people). “Until it becomes manifest to them that he is the truth” means that “he” (the Twelfth Imam (as)) is the Qaem (as) (Taweel Al Ayat Al Zahirah page 527)
Imam Baqir (as) was asked about the Tafseer of the above verse. Imam (as) replied, The sign that they will see “within themselves” is the deformation (of people). The sign “in the horizons” is that the horizons will become smaller. Therefore, they will see the power of Allah over them and in the horizons.
“It becomes manifest to them that he is the truth” refers to the rising of the Qaem (as). “He” is “the truth” who will come from Allah, and it is inevitable that people will see him. (Al Ghaybah by Nomani page 143)
